I built Hannun because finding files on Windows is still slow and frustrating. I wanted something that feels instant, works on my own files without sending them anywhere, and looks good doing it.
What Hannun does (free):
- Finds files by name as you type, across the folders you choose
- Searches inside your documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text); the free version covers your 5,000 most recent documents
- Previews files right next to the results
- Finds duplicates by their contents and moves extras to a recovery area, so nothing is lost by mistake
- Tags, saved searches and search tabs
Private by design: Hannun never connects to the internet. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your files and searches stay on your PC.
Hannun Pro (optional, one-time): unlimited document search, faster indexing for big NTFS drives, combined search rules, and bulk duplicate and tag clean-up.
