I've been using habit trackers for years and always hit the same wall. There's no real reason to care. You miss a day, you reset your streak, nobody notices, you can even cheat and complete the tasks without doing them.
So I built HabitWar. The idea is simple: habit tracking as a multiplayer competition with your actual friends. Small groups, a monthly leaderboard, and a system where your friends can call you out if they think you're cheating. The winner at the end of the month gets to set the habits for the next one.
It started as a side project and grew into something I genuinely use with my own friend group. Launched it today.
Curious what people here think is the solo habit tracker model broken, or is adding competition just making it more stressful?
HabitWar turns habit building into a multiplayer competition. Challenge your friends, vote on their actions, and climb the leaderboard with fun events and achievements. Available for iOS & Android.
