Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Sahil from Gensouls Lab a, CS undergrad and the maker of Habitat. I built this out of frustration with myself. For years I suffered from chronic snooze addiction. I tried every hardcore alarm app — Alarmy, Snap Alarm, math problems, barcodes. My sleep-deprived brain cheated every single one. I literally kept a photo of my bathroom barcode next to my bed. I realized those apps fail because they rely on the honor system. I didn't need an honor system. I needed an anti-cheat engine. So I wired up MoveNet Lightning (17-point skeletal tracking) and a custom liveness analyzer into a Flutter app. Habitat forces you to prove you're awake through physical motion that cannot be spoofed by a screenshot or a half-asleep swipe.
