Dev Log#1
I’m 16, and for the past few months I’ve been building a habit tracker called Habit Hero.
I thought the hard part would be writing code.
It wasn’t.
The hard part has been getting people to care.
Some days I get zero visitors.
Some features take days to build, and nobody uses them.
I’ve redesigned the app more times than I can count.
Instead of quitting, I decided to treat the whole thing like a game.
Over the last few weeks I’ve:
Built dozens of SEO pages to learn how search works.
Reworked the onboarding multiple times.
Removed streaks because I don't think missing one day should erase months of progress.
Turned habit tracking into something visual instead of another boring checklist.
I'm still learning everything as I go... from design, marketing, SEO, and product.
There are no investors.
No team.
Just me, a laptop, and a lot of curiosity.
I have no idea where Habit Hero will be in a year.
But I know I'll keep shipping until I find something people genuinely love.
