Guitar Wiz is an Apple Design Awards Finalist

I’m incredibly happy to share that Guitar Wiz has been selected as a finalist for the Apple Design Awards.
Apple Design Awards: https://developer.apple.com/design/awards/
This is especially meaningful because Guitar Wiz was built with the goal of creating a guitar companion that feels deeply native to the Apple ecosystem - from iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch support to features like widgets, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts, App Clips, iMessage sharing, and accessibility-first design.
A huge thank you to the Product Hunt community for the support, upvotes, comments, and encouragement when Guitar Wiz launched here. That early support meant a lot and helped give the app visibility at a very important stage.
Guitar Wiz has always been about helping guitarists learn, practice, and create - with tools like chords, tuner, metronome, Chord Assist, song tools, and accessible chord diagrams all in one place.
Thank you again to everyone here who supported the app. I’m truly grateful. 🙏

@bijoythangaraj Being an Apple Design Awards finalist is a huge achievement , especially for a music app where usability really matters.
The focus on making it feel truly native across the Apple ecosystem definitely show.
@bijoythangaraj @james_anderson77 Really impressive milestone. Feels like Apple usually notices apps where the small UX details are done right , and music tools especially are hard to make feel polished across devices.
@bijoythangaraj @james_anderson77 @joseph_walker2 Curious what feature or design choice made Apple notice Guitar wiz the most , because the app experience already feels incredibly refined.
@rahul_manjhi1 Happy to see Guitar Wiz getting this kind of recognition because good educational apps deserve more attention.

@james_anderson77 @joseph_walker2 @rahul_manjhi1 Thank you so much! I think it was probably a combination of small details rather than one single feature - making Guitar Wiz feel polished across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Widgets, Live Activities, App Clips, iMessage, and Siri Shortcuts, while also putting a lot of care into accessibility.
The Inclusivity recognition is especially meaningful because VoiceOver support, high-contrast chord diagrams, Dynamic Type, haptics, and localization in 30+ languages were all important parts of the app from the beginning.
