How do you check which instructions your coding agent received?

You updated the repo’s agent instructions. How did you check what the agent actually received?

I’m building Guidefold, an open-source project that keeps instructions beside the code and selects them by directory. Git stays the source of truth.

Which step would you need to verify in your own repo? If something is unclear, a timestamp and the question it raised would help.

Think about the last instruction change your team made: what changed, how did you check it, and did anything go wrong? If your current setup handles this well, I’d like to hear that too. Please leave out private code or company data.

The OSS version is available now. I’m planning a paid hosted version for teams, but the SaaS is not available yet. I want to understand what costs you time before deciding what belongs in it.
