Hey PH 👋 I'm Graham, the solo dev behind GridJoy. I've been quietly building this for the last fourteen months on a Raspberry Pi 5 sitting on my desk. The pitch is simple: I love Sudoku but most number-puzzle apps are full of pop-ups, "claim your reward!" noise, and word-heavy tutorials. I wanted the opposite — eighteen number puzzle types, all explained through animation, no words anywhere in gameplay. Ads exist, but they're caged: banners only on lobby screens (never on a puzzle), capped interstitials with a 24-hour grace period and a 15-min cooldown, and the things players actually opt into (double Essence, extra hints) are rewarded. A ghost mascot you can dress up if you want to. Things I'd genuinely love feedback on: 1. **Is the wordless tutorial clear?** I can't unsee my own design, so I'm probably overrating it. The puzzle list is on https://gridjoy.app/puzzles if you want to skim. 2. **The Public Arena (rolling 24h leaderboard) — does the framing feel competitive or oppressive?** I'm trying to make ranked play feel calm, not casino. 3. **iOS readiness — what would you want before a TestFlight invite?** Honest critique > polite encouragement. Reply here or DM, I'll be in this thread all day. Free on Google Play, no account needed, offline-first. Link above.
