Most note apps store your thoughts. Graphite thinks with you. It's a local-first AI second brain with semantic search, autonomous ReAct agents, deep research with citations, voice notes, and built-in financial analysis. Your notes stop being dead files and start working for you. MIT licensed. Self-hostable. Your data never leaves your machine unless you want it to.

local-first is a huge plus for me, and the semantic search actually finds stuff i forgot i wrote. the deep research with citations is the standout feature so far.
@bakbasoglu17067 Thank you, Beyzanur! Resurfacing old, forgotten thoughts is honestly one of the best side effects of semantic search. So glad to hear the deep research agent with citation tracking is standing out for you—that local retrieval pipeline took a lot of tuning!
honestly the local-first setup is exactly what i've been wanting. one thing though, could you add a way to set up scheduled agent runs that automatically research a topic and drop the findings into a specific notebook. would make it way more useful for keeping up with stuff like weekly market briefs without me having to kick it off each time.
@sattapanbmta Thanks so much, Satı! That’s a fantastic feature request. Scheduled background agent runs (like automated cron jobs for weekly market briefs dropped straight into specific notebooks) would fit super cleanly into our agentic workflow. Adding this right to our roadmap—appreciate the feedback!
the semantic search actually picks up context surprisingly well, way better than just keyword matching. also love that it's local-first, feels good knowing my random 2am notes aren't getting shipped off somewhere
@ada9wtl Haha, keeping those 2 AM thoughts 100% private and strictly on-device was one of our main motivations! Really glad to hear the hybrid semantic search is hitting the mark and context retrieval is feeling seamless for you. Appreciate the support, Ada!
