GradingPal came from watching teachers just get buried in grading. We kept hearing the same story: stacks of essays, endless worksheets, late nights, and weekends disappearing into red pens and rubrics. It felt like way too much time was going into paperwork and not nearly enough into actually working with students. So we thought: what if AI could do the boring, repetitive part: first-draft scoring, comments, and analytics, while teachers stayed in charge of the final grade and the personal touch?
