Hey Product Hunt, I'm Mike, founder of Kithly and I made GoodPlanner.

I've kept a paper planner for years, with a daily list on one page and notes about meetings and my day mixed in. What I never liked was that I couldn't find the thing I wrote three weeks ago, move a to-do to Thursday, or repeat it every other Tuesday without copying it over and over again. Most planner apps fixed that by piling on stickers, templates and dashboards, or asked for a subscription before I'd written a single line. I wanted a more minimal and flexible approach.

So I built the planner I wanted: calm and simple, with everything I was missing.

  • Nothing on the page but your day. No stickers, no templates, no streaks. Just ruled lines, your handwriting or typing, and one small marker beside each line.

  • A to-do list and a daily planner in one. Write by hand, or tap the keyboard and type. GoodPlanner creates a to-do you can mark done. Each to-do and event has its own page of notes, and the day's notes page holds everything else on your mind.

  • Search finds every word, even your handwriting, and it's recognized on your device.

  • Write "3 PM call Acme" and it drops into chronological order. Open a to-do to tag it with a category, or repeat it every other Tuesday or on the 1st and the 15th. Bring unfinished items forward with a tap. Step back to see the week, the month, or the whole year.

  • Made for iPhone Duo. Closed, the front screen shows today. Open, it's like a book: your list on one side, your notes on the other. Rotate it for a full page to write on.

  • Ask Siri to add a to-do on the go, and check things off right from your Home Screen widget.

  • Private by design. No account, no ads, nothing collected. Your planner lives on your devices and in your own iCloud. I can't see it.

Pricing: every feature free for 14 days, then $29.99 once. One purchase covers your iPhone, Duo, iPad and Mac, and your family through Family Sharing. No subscription. If your trial ends, nothing is locked away: everything you wrote stays there to read and search.

It's a small, quiet app from a small company. I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you're a paper-planner person or already have a Duo. I'll be here all day answering questions.
