Hello everyone👋🏾 I'm really excited to finally launch the beta version of Lance – a professional network for freelancers 🎉
I'm a photographer turned web dev/designer. In my photography days, I used to struggle with a place to brand myself. There have been several incidents where I have been tempted to send my Instagram account to clients, but I knew it wasn't the smartest move xD and other websites were either portfolio-based or text-based.
I wanted a place where I could show my portfolio in a lightweight matter and also find other creatives, that's how Lance was born💃🏽 a mix of LinkedIn and Instagram with apple inspired look💫
In the beta version I wanted to focus on the visual creators of the freelance world, I will definitely expand later 🤝 but in the meantime, you can:
– Share "shots" aka images
– Ask or answer questions
– Discover other people

@alex_davidovich Thanks for the question! Lance is a lightweight version, it's as easy as making an Instagram post. It's also possible to fill more information about yourself and ask questions. But this is only the beginning, we plan to expand to other freelancers like writers, developers, copywriters, etc!
