@brchastain It's been running for almost a year, this is just the first time we're talking about it more publicly - we wanted to take some time first to get the tooling right and make sure we could deliver a good experience and scale it for lots of people across lots of platforms

Ghost was already incredibly powerful. I'm working on a fledgling blog+newsletter and have found the platform's flexibility really rewarding. Excited to dig into these updates, congrats to everyone who worked on this!

Its a long time. I remember the time when it was first launched. At that time I backed it because I know it will go places. I am not a paid member of it but somehow what @johnonolan has done to Ghost was tremendous. Kudos to him for doing an awesome job.

I spent a long time surveying open source frameworks mostly Jamstack and finally decided to go with Ghost as it offers the best solution for subscription websites. I'm not a developer yet and I just figured out the methodology to create my own themes on Ghost thanks to some excellent tutorials on youtube by Paul Halliday, and CodeDamn videos for deploying Ghost and Next.js. Paul Halliday is an excellent communicator and teacher. The Ghost team should consider bringing Halliday aboard to do basic and advanced authorized tutorials on how to use Ghost etc. Every revolution is based on information flow. The afternoon of my own breakthrough in learning Ghost I was on Google news and saw the announcement for Ghost 4. I was very surprised to see a new major version so soon and impressed. Ghost is such a dynamic product. Your business model is great as it helps foster content and the flow of information ,and gives people the opportunity to start their own gig, and hopefully grow to hiring developers for a more custom product through Ghost I hope Ghost continues with the current business model. I read that Ghost 4.0 is now as fast as a static site generator which is a major breakthrough and will lead to greater adoption.

It could be awesome if Ghost can be installed easily in Plesk :)

@arcturus_archie or in cPanel for that matter. Overall, an easier install process would create a bigger user base, that's for sure.
