I was updating my portfolio for the third time in a year. Same ritual every time: screenshot new projects, rewrite descriptions, update the tech stack list, fiddle with layout. Then I looked at my GitHub profile and realized everything was already there. The repos, the languages, the commit activity. All of it sitting in plain sight while I was manually copying it into a static site that would be outdated again in two months. That bothered me enough to start building. getfolio.dev connects to your GitHub and pulls in your real activity. Repos, stars, contribution graph, top languages. It stays current without you touching it. You pick one of five themes, drag sections around if you want, and you've got a portfolio that actually reflects what you're working on right now. I built this with Next.js App Router, Firebase, Tailwind, and Framer Motion. Deployed on Vercel, payments through Stripe. The free tier gives you a full portfolio. Pro adds a custom domain and privacy-first analytics. This is my first SaaS and I've been building it in public for about five weeks now. I'd genuinely love feedback on the themes, the editor experience, anything that feels off. I'm one person shipping this, so knowing what to fix first matters a lot.
