Why keeping a work log changed the way I manage my time
For many years I finished each workday feeling tired not knowing what I had really done. My calendar was full of meetings. My chat apps were full of short questions and quick replies.
To solve this I began using a work log to write down three specific tasks each morning and record each completed task at the end of the day. If a task did not fit into those three goals it went into a separate backlog to work on later.
This simple habit showed me how time I was wasting on unimportant admin work and random interruptions. By protecting my morning focus time I released product features in two weeks than I had in two months before.
Seeing what you do each day is the step to taking back your schedule.
How do you protect your deep‑work hours, from interruptions?

Writing down 3 priorities every morning sounds simple but can really help avoid distractions and get more done
