Why do most article saving tools end up becoming digital black holes?

by

When you push a link into a read later queue the immediate sense of satisfaction trickles away and the motivation to digest that long post drops to zero.

Over time that reading list turns into a heavy task list that feels more like homework than casual learning.

It feels like if I don't read an interesting post within two hours of finding it, the odds of me ever opening it again drop drastically.

Have you built a system that actually gets you to read saved content, or do you just let old links pile up?
