What shifted in your metrics priority after switching from free users to paid subscribers?

Focusing on signup momentum is fun but customer cancellations quickly shift your focus once revenue is involved.

A lot of cancellation reasons boil down to routine integration rather than minor feature requests. Fixing how a product fits into someone's workday is a much tougher challenge than just shipping another update.

Do experienced founders eventually get used to churn or do you just build faster ways to analyze and act on user cancellation reasons?

Fixing integration issues is a thousand times harder than building new features, totally agree with you on this

I noticed users leave not because of a lack of features but because the product doesnt fir smoothly into their daily workflow.

after shifting from free to paid we had to completely overhaul our metrics dashboard, otherwise we were flying blind.
