What changed in your product strategy when you realized churn wasn't a feature problem?

Acquiring new users feels like momentum, but retaining them reveals whether you built a gimmick or a workflow.

Early on, we assumed cancellations happened because we lacked features X, Y, or Z. Once paid revenue was on the line, customer feedback shifted: users loved the concept, but it didn't naturally slot into their daily tools (Slack, Notion, or email).

Fixing how your software fits into someone's existing 9 to 5 workflow is exponentially harder than building a shiny new dashboard.
