I spent a month building an AI system with a massive backend pipeline that handled different LLM calls for content creation. Yesterday I found out a user got the result just by using a clever mix of slash commands in a regular AI chat app. It made me realize I completely overcomplicated things. When do you choose to build a tool versus just teaching users the right prompts?
