After launching my first app, I realised getting people to discover it is a completely different challenge.

For me, the biggest surprise post-launch was how users actually interact with the product vs. how I envisioned it. Features I spent weeks polishing were completely ignored, while a tiny side feature ended up becoming the main selling point. Launching is really just the day you start getting real data instead of assumptions.

I used to think publishing the product was the hard part. In reality, that's when the real work starts, getting in front of the right people, and improving the product little by little. Building was easier than getting people to care.
Haven't been through it but AM going through it. Marketing your product is a whole different beast, distribution really is tough.
