Launching in August… am I about to make a huge mistake?

I’m launching a product for the first time on Product Hunt and, while I’ve done my research (and read waay too many launch checklists), I’d really love to hear from this community directly. We’re set to go live the first week of August, which I’m slightly nervous about timing-wise, since this is most people’s down time for the summer. Has anyone here launched during August before?

I think it's worth a try, I'll support you on launch day (You can write to me on LinkedIn). In August, not a large percentage of people go on vacation, and a great opportunity for a launch.

August launches can actually work in your favor! While some folks are on vacation, the PH community stays pretty active – people checking in, maintaining streaks (we know how that goes 😉), and honestly, less competition means more spotlight for you. You've done the prep, now trust the process! Rooting for you 🚀
