Is “ship fast” just an excuse for releasing bad products?

Everywhere you look, founders are told to ship as fast as possible.
Launch before you’re ready. Get feedback. Fix things later.
But I’m starting to think we’ve taken that advice too far.
A lot of products now launch half-finished, with obvious bugs and a “we’re still early” excuse attached to them. First impressions matter, and most users probably aren’t coming back three months later to see if you fixed everything.
Maybe spending another month building something people actually enjoy using isn’t overthinking. Maybe it’s just caring about the product.
Where do you draw the line?
