If people stop searching, what happens to your funnel?

A friend needed accounting software last month. He never opened Google. He asked an assistant, got three names, then messaged a founder he already knew. No search, no form.

Almost every growth plan waits for that search. And at the same time outbound got free, so inboxes are full of clean emails nobody reads.

The one thing that still seems to work is timing. A company signs a bigger lease, a firm hires ten people in a month, someone writes they are moving in September. No keyword anywhere, but the need is already there.

I test it by hand: one clear change, five people it just happened to, one short message about that change and nothing else.

Has anyone here seen inbound get quieter this year? What are you doing instead of waiting for the search?
