How much of your invoice/expense workflow is still manual in 2026?

I've been looking into the invoice processing space lately, and I'm

surprised how much manual data entry still happens even with all the AI

tools available now — typing supplier names, dates, amounts into

spreadsheets one invoice at a time.

Is this still a real pain point for people running small businesses or

doing bookkeeping, or has this actually been solved well already by

existing tools most people use?
