How do you handle client approval when your content is automated?

I've been automating social posts for a small business with n8n and Zernio, and the generating and scheduling part works great. The part I keep getting stuck on is the approval.

The client has to say yes before anything goes live, and right now that means sending screenshots on WhatsApp, waiting, and then going back to the flow by hand. And when something goes out wrong, there's no clear record of what they actually approved.

For those of you running content or AI agents that publish or send things for clients:

- How do you get the OK? Slack, email, Telegram, a tool like Planable?

- Do you keep any record of who approved what?

- Has an "I never approved that" ever happened to you?

Curious how others solve this before I overbuild my own thing.

i run a news automation on n8n. for client sign off i'd use the wait node with approve and reject links sent by email, the email thread then becomes your timestamped record of what they approved
