How do you feel about the majority of products featured on PH being AI?
English is not my main language, so bear with me :) I used to be a daily user of PH. Not as a contributor, but a lurker. I loved to discover new apps, services, ideas... However, after a couple of years of not using the platform, I returned only to find that an overwhelming majority of the products are just... AI.
Not necessarily saying I'm against AI products. That's a debate in itself, and not the point I'm trying to make. I'm just pointing out that there doesn't seem to be a lot of products or ideas around that:
a) Aren't an AI-centered/driven product
or b) Don't use AI as a catchphrase to either grab people's attention or make the product seem better/more innovative/up to date
Some launches just appear to be AI products followed by AI-written replies. The platform feels less human sometimes. Also, what happened to products that aren't oriented to developers/other founders? Maybe that's the route PH has taken, and it's no longer the place for someone like me, who's into tech but not a programmer or founder! I'm sure there's examples of non-AI products, but I think we can all agree that the AI-catchphrase products are the most prevalent.
What are your thoughts on this? Been thinking about this for some time and I'd love to know what others think!

I feel the same in a way. I don’t mind products using AI, but I think “AI” has become the headline even when it isn’t the interesting part.
For me, the better question is still: what problem does this solve, and is it actually useful?
If AI is doing the heavy lifting, great. But if the whole pitch is just “we added AI,” it gets tiring pretty fast.
AI was a differentiator for a while. But now it is just expected to be there as part of a product. I built something that uses AI heavily to deliver the result, but when creating and writing the marketing copy, I chose not to mention AI at all in the primary copy. It just isn't as important or relevant as the function it serves. I would rather talk about the thing it does, without the buzzword.
To misquote Sean Parker's character in the Social Network: "Drop the AI, it's cleaner."
