I met my two co-founders by joining their high school Hacking club. We participated in hackathons and eventually stumbled on an idea we wanted to pursue further. If I hadn't joined, I would've had definitely missed on many opportunities!

We were in the same classroom in primary school !
Wow that's kinda insane - did you keep in contact since then?
Nop! We just bump into each other in a pub - start talking and after three hours we ended up saying "we should really start a business togather! And that's it!"
