Anyone else start saying yes to things they once said they’d never do?

When I started I had a pretty strict idea of what kind of company I wanted to build. No chasing every opportunity no building random features no saying yes just because someone asked. Then things got busy and suddenly those rules became a lot harder to follow. Sometimes saying yes feels like adapting but sometimes it feels like slowly becoming the exact kind of founder I didn’t want to be. How do you know when you’re being flexible versus just giving up on your original principles?
