After 46 daily reports, the page still not indexed is the one Google never recrawled

by

I have exported the Search Console coverage list for my own site every day since 28 July. 46 reports across 45 days, 277 URLs in the sitemap.

Fourteen URLs have carried the verdict "Crawled, currently not indexed" at some point in that window. Twelve of them left it. Two are still there, and one of those two has been on every single report since the first one.

What separates them is not the page. It is whether Google came back.

I checked six of the twelve that cleared, and five of the six show two or more different last crawl dates across the reports before they disappeared. /blog/custom-software-development-usa-enterprise-and-startup-solutions was recrawled on 17 July, 1 August, 3 August, 5 August, 10 August and 12 August, then it was gone from the list. /blog/building-a-successful-saas-product-in-2026-from-idea-to-launch moved from a 21 July crawl to 21, 22 and 24 August and 1 September, then it was gone.

The one that is still there, /blog/mobile-app-and-ai-saas-development-services-2026-complete-guide-for-usa-and-uk-businesses, has exactly one crawl date across all 46 reports: 2026-07-19T17:45:56Z. It has never been recrawled since the day it was first seen. It sits in the sitemap, the sitemap is resubmitted daily, and it has had an Indexing API notification accepted on every one of those days.

So that verdict is not one state. It is a queue for pages Google means to revisit and a bin for pages it does not, and Search Console prints the same words for both. The crawl date is the only thing on that screen that tells you which one you are in.

If you keep your own coverage exports, does the crawl date split your stuck pages the same way?

My opinion is, the crawl date is just the symptom. Google comes back when something re-references the page, and a URL stuck on one crawl since July is almost always an orphan or thin. I'd trace its internal links before exporting a 47th report.

This explains why my stuck page never moves. Same crawl date since July. How do you track recrawl frequency daily without missing it?

Finally someone tracked it daily. That single crawl date pattern matches mine exactly. What would you suggest for pages Google clearly decided not to revisit?

You should improve the interior of the page structure and metadata and remove stars claim, security claim or and delete and resubmit the sitemap.
