The inspiration behind NovaVogue came from a very relatable, frustrating experience: ordering clothes online and getting the completely wrong size. We’ve all been there—waiting days for a package, only to realize the item is too big or too small. Statistically, over 35% of online clothes are returned due to sizing issues. It wastes time for shoppers and costs billions for fashion brands. We knew there had to be a smarter way. The Problem & Our Solution: Traditional size charts are confusing and often inaccurate. With NovaVogue, we wanted to build a solution that requires zero effort from the user. No complicated 3D scanners or measuring tapes needed. You just upload one full-body photo, paste a clothing link from your favorite store (like Zara or ASOS), and our AI instantly overlays the outfit onto your body, giving you a perfect fit recommendation. How our approach evolved: Initially, we thought about creating a simple size-calculator plugin for specific web stores. But during development, we realized users want freedom—they want to try on clothes from any store in one central place.
