Hey Product Hunt! I’m the maker of GameBuro 👋
GameBuro started as a small side project for turning Steam profiles into funny shareable cards. Then I kept adding ideas, and at some point it stopped being “just a Steam card generator” and became a collection of tools for PC gamers.
Today you can explore your Steam library from a few very different angles: generate mock-official gamer documents, look at your gaming habits and statistics, find your “gaming era”, get personalized conclusions about your library, and play GameGuessr — a 10-round challenge where you recognize games from screenshots, guess when they were released, or figure out where they were developed.
Some parts of GameBuro also use AI. I don’t use it as a replacement for the actual data or game statistics — it’s mostly there to turn raw numbers into more interesting personalized observations and conclusions when that makes sense. There are also fallback systems, so the core tools don’t depend on AI being available.
One thing I care about a lot is that GameBuro should feel like a gaming website, not a corporate analytics dashboard. That’s why there’s a lot of deliberately unnecessary bureaucracy, questionable official documents, fictional inspectors, and other nonsense mixed in with the real Steam data.
Everything runs in the browser — no launcher or installation required. Most tools don’t require an account either, although accounts are gradually becoming more useful for saving results and other features.
GameBuro is still actively evolving, and that’s actually one of the main reasons I wanted to post it here. I’d really like to know which tools you find genuinely fun or useful, which ones you don’t care about, and what you think is missing.
