This project started not as a business plan, but as a personal solution to a problem that was driving me and my friends crazy: the complete lack of respect and accountability in modern dating. We were all tired of being ghosted and felt like our time was being constantly wasted. We believe the fundamental issue is a misalignment of incentives. Fuchsia is our attempt to fix that by creating a framework where seriousness and respect are the default, not the exception. I know the concept of 'compensated first dates' is provocative and raises a lot of questions. That’s exactly why we’re launching here. We want to have that conversation openly with a community that understands product, design, and social dynamics.
