Which Broker Rating Format Would You Trust More?

by

I’m currently working on how ForexRater presents broker ratings, and I’m considering two different approaches.

Option A: Simple overall score

Show one overall rating at the top, with the methodology and individual factors available when users expand the details.

This makes the comparison faster and easier to scan, but some users may question how the final score was calculated.

Option B: Category scores first

Show separate ratings for areas such as regulation, trading costs, platforms, account conditions, customer support, and available markets before displaying an overall score.

This provides more transparency, but it may make the comparison page feel more complicated.

Which approach would you trust more when comparing brokers?

A simple overall score with optional details, or a complete category breakdown from the beginning?

I’m looking for feedback on this specific product decision rather than general promotion.
