I built FloatingAI because I saw the amazing potential between Android's accessibility capabilities and AI. The idea that your phone could actually "see" and understand what's on your screen, then help you with it using AI - that felt like the future we should already be living in. Before 4.0, FloatingAI had preset prompts like summarize, reply suggestions, and generating comments, which was already pretty useful. But with 4.0, I got tired of still having to think in those preset categories. Sometimes you just want to ask "wait, what does this technical term mean?" or "is this company legit?" while you're reading something. The new ask feature lets you have that natural conversation with AI about whatever you're looking at, instead of forcing you to pick from a menu or switch between apps. It finally feels like your phone can just... understand and help, the way it should.
