Flircy - Browser-based dating that actually replies
byβ’
Flircy is a dating app that runs in your browser β no download needed. Browse profiles by city and interests, match with people you like, and chat. It's built around one idea: conversations that go somewhere, not matches that leave you on read. Free to start.

Hey Product Hunt π We built Flircy because the most frustrating part of online dating isn't matching β it's the silence after. Great conversations that justβ¦ stop. So we made a dating app that lives in your browser (nothing to download), lets you browse by city and interests, and is designed from the ground up to get real replies instead of leaving you on read. It's free to start, and it works anywhere. We'd genuinely love your honest feedback β what works, what doesn't, what would make you actually reply. Come say hi at flircy.com. Thanks for taking a look.
How does Flircy actually keep conversations going versus just throwing people into a chat. Is there something the app does on the backend to nudge matches toward real replies, or is it more about who joins?
@feride188591Β Great question! It's less about a "magic" backend and more about the overall experience. The idea behind Flircy is to encourage meaningful conversations from the start rather than endless swiping. You can browse people by city and shared interests, which gives you something genuine to talk about instead of starting every chat with "Hey."
We also try to keep the experience simple and focused on helping people connect, rather than overwhelming them with endless matches. At the end of the day, no app can force someone to reply, but we believe that better matching and giving people more context about each other can lead to more natural conversations.
We're still improving the platform based on user feedback, so it's definitely evolving. If you have ideas on features that you think would reduce ghosting or make conversations better, I'd genuinely love to hear them.
