Two weeks after launch: slower bots, keyboard controls, and live 6v6 rankings
Based on the first round of feedback, I’ve been focused on making Flickstrike easier to learn without removing the skill.
Since launch:
• Added a slower Original bot for a more forgiving first match
• Added keyboard controls: use 1–6 to select a player and the arrow keys to aim
• Made combined arrow-key aiming turn more smoothly through 360°
• Opened the public 6v6 Standard queue with 100 starting MMR and a live leaderboard
• Added a shared five-shot daily challenge and optional browser reminders
The question I’m testing now: does the slower bot make the first match understandable, or does the flick/turn-based format still need a clearer explanation?
