Flickstrike - Built around passing and positioning

by
I wanted a video game that played like soccer, where passing and shooting take real skill and practice. Flickstrike is a free browser game built around angles, power, positioning, and bank shots. You control the whole team, so you can set up every pass and shot yourself, play with a teammate when you want, and join parties with up to 12 people. Play 6v6 or 4v4 online, challenge bots, create formations, and train with skill drills.

Hi Product Hunt! I built Flickstrike because I wanted a video game that played like soccer, where passing and shooting take real skill and practice instead of happening automatically. Every move starts with a drag and release, so you have to read the angle, choose the right power, and learn how the ball and players will react. You control every player on your side, which means you can build the whole move yourself and never have to rely on a teammate unless you choose an online team mode. This first release includes 6v6 and 4v4 matches, online rooms, a solo bot ladder, editable formations, freeplay, and shooting, passing, dribbling, and custom training drills. It runs in the browser with no download required. It’s still an early version, and I’m actively improving multiplayer smoothness, bot behavior, balance, and mobile play. I’d especially love feedback on whether the passing and shooting controls feel rewarding to learn, which mode is most fun, and where the game feels unclear or unfair. Thanks for playing!

Love the idea. Scored couple of goals. I feel it mimics fossball more than football as its one move at a time. May be the bots or other players can move as well. the AI player was bit too fast. Keyboard controls? Kudos on the launch, I will keep an eye on it.
