Why I built FinPlan.ME - my first solo Android app

A few months ago I got frustrated. Every budgeting app I tried wanted some kind of bank details, my email, or permission to "analyze" my habits. I just wanted to know where my money was going - privately, simply, without handing my financial life to a random server somewhere!

So I built it myself.

FinPlan.ME is a fully offline expense tracker and budget planner. No account, no cloud, no AI. Your data lives on your device and nowhere else! Track daily expenses, set budgets by category, build savings goals, and scan receipts - all for free.

It's the app I genuinely use every day, my family & friends as well. It's already helped more than just me to see, exactly where the money was disappearing each month.
