Hi everyone 👋 I'm Robert, a film photographer shooting mostly medium format (Hasselblad, Rolleicord). For years I kept writing notes on papers/notebooks, in Notes app, on the back of film boxes.. and always lost them by the time I got scans back. So I built FilmLog: a simple, focused iOS app to log every roll and frame: film stock, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, lens, and notes. No accounts, no cloud lock-in, just a clean log that lives on your phone. A few things I care about: • Fast entry: you're standing in the field, not filling forms • Works for 35mm, medium format and large format • Your data stays yours (SwiftData, on-device, no server connection) This is my first app and I built it while learning Swift, so I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback! Logged a roll on my phone during a walk and loved that I could jot frame-by-frame notes with the exposure settings right there. The built-in light meter is a nice touch too, makes it easy to double-check before the next shot.
