Filezuma - PDF tools that never upload your files

by•
47 free PDF tools, and 41 of them run entirely in your browser, so your files never reach a server. Merge, split, compress, edit, sign, redact, OCR and convert. New: bank statements to Excel checked to the cent, email and EPUB to PDF, a signature generator, a vehicle bill of sale, and Signzuma e-signatures with an audit certificate. Free with no sign-up; Pro from $6/month.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built Filezuma because the PDFs people run through online tools are some of the most private files they own: leases, pay stubs, medical letters, IDs. Yet almost every free PDF site uploads them to a server first. Filezuma does it the other way round. 25 of the 31 tools run entirely in your browser (pdf-lib, pdf.js, and qpdf and Tesseract compiled to WebAssembly), so the file never leaves your device. Open your browser's network tab while you use one and you'll see no upload. A few things I'm proud of: • Retype text in a PDF's own fonts, not a lookalike • Redaction that actually removes the text, not a black box over it • OCR in the browser, so even scanned medical records stay local • Signzuma, built in: send PDFs for signature with an audit certificate and a tamper seal, free for 3 a month The browser tools are free with no sign-up. Pro is $6/month, and the code LAUNCH50 gives you 50% off for a year. I'd love your feedback, especially on which tool you'd want next.
