What inspired us: As a new freelancer and UX designer, I was frustrated by invoicing software — either overwhelming or packed with features I didn't need. I wanted something that gets straight to the point so I could spend less time on paperwork and more on my work. We actually built a first version of Fiftie 7 years ago with a friend (Pierre) and a developer (Christian) on FileMaker. It worked and solved the problem, but the tech at the time made it too expensive to ship. We put it on hold. Recent tech changes made the original vision feasible again. We revived Fiftie with a clear mission: the best invoicing UX in France for freelancers and micro-entrepreneurs, plus AgendaSync — sync your calendar and invoice in one click.
