I’m Camdan, the solo developer behind Fidgetable, and I’m incredibly excited to share the massive Version 2 update with you today. When I launched V1, my goal was simple: to create a fidget app that wasn't expensive, complicated, or littered with stressful ads. The response was amazing, but as I kept using it myself, I knew the experience could be even better. For V2, I completely overhauled the app from the ground up to make it incredibly simple, subtle, clean, and well-designed. Built purely in SwiftUI and optimized for iOS 26, Fidgetable now takes full advantage of Apple's CoreHaptics framework. The result is a high-fidelity tactile experience where every click, pop, and slide feels shockingly realistic right out of the box. Here is what’s new in the V2 overhaul: - 11+ Unique Haptic Fidgets: Tap, swipe, hold, shake, or tilt. I've added deeply satisfying new interactions inspired by everyday life, like Bubble Wrap, Snap, and Bounce. - Endless Customization: You can now adjust the size, color, animations, and behaviors of your favorite fidgets. - Shareable Setups: Created the perfect fidget or theme? You can now share your configurations with friends using custom links. - Still 100% Ad-Free: Ads suck. The core app remains completely free with zero interruptions, zero data-selling, and no paywalls on the essentials. Introducing Fidgetable+: To keep development sustainable, I’m introducing Fidgetable+ for power users. Available as an affordable one-time purchase (or a low-cost yearly subscription) and supporting family sharing, it unlocks a Custom Fidget Builder, deep haptic tuning, a Theme Builder, and early access to new fidgets. I build Fidgetable because it's the app I want to use every day, and I'm thrilled to share this rebuilt version with the world. I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day, I’d love to hear your feedback, especially on how the new app feels!
