Hi, we're Fianto: USDC subscriptions on Solana. What would you bill with it?

by•

Hey everyone 👋

We built Fianto because recurring payments are still the hard part of getting paid in crypto. A wallet only sends money when its owner signs, so most "crypto subscriptions" end up being a reminder email and a manual payment every month.

Fianto fixes that with the Solana Foundation's Subscriptions program:

- Approve once. The customer signs one transaction in their own wallet. After that, each monthly or yearly renewal is collected automatically.

- Capped on chain. The program refuses any charge above the amount the customer approved, or to a wallet the plan doesn't name.

- Non-custodial. USDC goes straight from the customer's wallet to yours. No balance, no payout to wait for.

- No code needed. Sell from a hosted checkout, a payment link, or your own shop at . Discount codes work on all three.

- For developers: checkout sessions, signed webhooks, and an SDK for Next.js, Hono and Express.

You pay nothing as the merchant, and there's no Fianto fee during the beta.

We'd love your take:

  • What would you sell with it: SaaS, API access, a membership, a newsletter?

  • What's missing before you'd switch from card billing?

  • Anything confusing on the site or in the docs?
