Does AI whispering right beside your ear feel cozy or genuinely terrifying?

Hey PH! 🎧

While building FeelHer, we solved real-time 3D binaural positioning so her voice actually travels from your left ear, behind your head, to your right ear with subtle breath latency.

But during internal late-night testing in a completely dark room... half our testers said it gave them goosebumps and melted their stress, while the other half ripped their headphones off screaming "she is literally breathing on my neck".

Where is the fine line between "deep emotional comfort" and "uncanny valley horror"?

If you’ve tested conversational voice bots in bed: do you actually want ultra-realistic spatial proximity, or is mono flat audio safer for your mental sanity?
