One thing worth explaining in more detail, since it's the core feature of the app and the main reason FeatherPack saves so much time over typing everything in by hand: how the scanner actually works.
Under the hood it combines barcode recognition, OCR, and queries to Claude to identify what you're scanning. Every item gets stored in a dedicated database, and the scanner gets faster and more accurate at recognizing gear the more it's used.
To be clear, it's not magic. It can't, for example, magically know everything about a wrinkled sweater lying on the floor with no visible tag or barcode in sight. For cases like that, there's also a manual way to register gear.
In testing, this combination has cut the time it takes to log a full gear inventory dramatically compared to doing it by hand.
