FAD Synth - Turn sound ideas into editable synth presets

by•
FAD Synth is a software synthesizer for macOS and Windows with analogue, wavetable and FM synthesis. Describe a sound to ALT, generate an editable preset, then refine it with text, knobs, waveform nodes and LFO curves. FAD’s Powder Snow decision model and Rock Painting algorithms plan sounds and build wavetable material, with native-engine rendering and acoustic feedback. Save the result as a preset and keep shaping it in your DAW.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Will from FAD Records. FAD Synth is built for the point where you can describe a sound but still want to play it, inspect it and shape it yourself. Ask ALT for a warm, slowly moving pad, then continue with a request such as “make the attack faster while keeping the low end and reverb.” The result stays editable in the synthesizer. The instrument combines analogue, wavetable and FM synthesis, waveform and LFO node editing, audio-based sound sources, modulation and effects. ALT uses our Powder Snow sound-decision model and Rock Painting algorithms, followed by native-engine rendering and acoustic feedback. Current requirements: Apple Silicon with macOS 15+, or Windows x64 with Windows 10 22H2+ and WebView2. Please check the website for current plugin formats and host compatibility. Pricing is in CNY: ¥99 per 30 days for Synth + ALT with 100 points per week; the synth alone is ¥49 per 30 days or ¥999 as a one-time purchase. ALT needs an internet connection and available points. The 30-day plans do not renew automatically. You can hear arrangements and individual stems on the product page. I’d love to hear what sounds you try and where the editing workflow could be clearer.
