What makes you choose a real-world experience instead of just dinner or drinks?

by

We’re building EXPRNCES because we noticed a simple problem: even in a city like Los Angeles, finding something memorable to do can still feel harder than it should.

Most people default to dinner, drinks, or scrolling through generic event listings. But when people choose a real-world experience, the reason is usually more emotional: a date, a birthday, a reset, a friend hangout, a creative moment, or just wanting to feel alive again.

With EXPRNCES, we’re trying to make local discovery feel more personal. Instead of only searching by category, guests can discover experiences by mood, vibe, outcome, and archetype.

Curious to hear from people here:

When you book something in real life, what actually makes you say yes?

Is it price, location, photos, reviews, uniqueness, convenience, the story, or something else?
