Windows 11 added Explorer tabs… but forgot the most important part

Explorer tabs are great — until you realize Windows still doesn’t properly restore structured tab sessions.

I’ve been building a solution around this problem and discovered the real challenge isn’t opening folders…

…it’s restoring them reliably when Windows focus, timing, and user interaction become unpredictable.

Curious whether others have run into the same issue, and what workflows people currently use to recover active Explorer setups after a restart or crash.
