I built Explain Legal after getting burned by a SaaS auto-renewal I didn't see coming. I'd signed up for a tool, forgot about it, and got charged for another year with no warning. When I went back to read the ToS, the auto-renewal clause was buried in paragraph 14. That's when I realized: nobody reads ToS. They're designed to be unreadable. So I built a Chrome extension that does it automatically. It detects when you're on a pricing page, fetches the ToS silently, and surfaces the 3 things that could cost you money, before you enter your credit card.
