ExodeUI - Design with Motion and Logic

by•
ExodeUI lets you design animations visually — with real spring physics, not fake easing curves — and hand off motion that just works in your product. No more re-building your prototype in code. What you design is what ships.

I'm ShinojCM, solo founder of ExodeUI. I built this because I kept running into the same gap, no matter which tool I tried. Figma is incredible for static design, but motion is bolted on — Smart Animate gets you 80% there and then falls apart the moment your interaction needs real logic. Rive is closer, built motion-first, but you're still designing inside a separate tool and then integrating its runtime into your app — it's not quite the same as designing with your actual production environment in mind. And framework animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, etc.) are the opposite problem: powerful, but you're back to writing code and eyeballing spring values instead of actually designing. None of them closed the full loop: design real motion → ship it, unchanged, into a real product. That's what ExodeUI is trying to do. Visual state machines for how your UI actually behaves, real spring physics instead of eased approximations, and output that goes straight into your app — no re-interpretation, no "make it bouncier" thread that goes nowhere. I'm building this solo, so if you've hit this gap with Figma, Rive, or anything else — I'd genuinely love to hear what broke for you and what you had to compromise on. It's exactly what's shaping what I build next. Thanks for checking it out!

Good luck with the launch!

How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?
The ambition for ExodeUI was always massive—building a full-fledged Motion Development Environment (MDE) with a React desktop editor, a custom JSON schema, and a Rust/WASM physics engine. Historically, attempting a project of this scale as a solo founder would be practically impossible. It requires deep expertise across completely different domains: frontend canvas rendering (Fabric.js/React), systems programming (Rust), memory management (WASM), and graphics pipelines (WebGL). A decade ago, this was a project that required a well-funded team of 10+ specialized engineers just to build an MVP. AI coding assistants fundamentally changed what I, as a solo technical founder, was capable of executing. Tools like Astra and advanced LLMs didn't just help me write boilerplate; they acted as my specialized co-founders. When I needed to bridge the Fabric.js canvas state into the Rust physics engine without blocking the main thread, I paired with AI to architect the WASM memory buffer. When I h
