Powerful business software shouldn't have to be difficult to use
We didn't set out to build another field service platform
ExequtechOS actually started with a customer request.
We had built an e-commerce website for a client, and after a few years of working together they asked us if we could build them something similar to the field service system they were already using. They had tried several systems and believed the one they had chosen was the best fit for their business.
There was just one problem.
After around six years of using it, there were still parts of the system they struggled to use — particularly things like inventory and assets.
Their request to us was surprisingly simple:
“Can you build us something similar that's easier to use?”
That became ExequtechOS.
As we built it around their actual day-to-day operations, it grew from simple job management into something much larger — quotations, jobs, technicians, projects, purchasing, supplier RFQs, stock, vehicle inventory, fixed assets, invoicing, debtors, creditors and more.
But we've tried to hold onto the original idea:
Powerful business software shouldn't have to be difficult to use.
We're taking pride in launching ExequtechOS here, and I'd love to hear from other business owners:
Have you ever had software that technically had the features you needed, but was so complicated that your team simply didn't use them?
